Welcome to "Breath of the Abyss", a isometric pixel art 2D roguelike bullet heaven game where you play as a skilled ninja who has descended into the depths of an ancient abyss. You have five minutes to survive against waves of enemies before a powerful boss appears, and you must defeat it to emerge victorious.

As a ninja, you have an array of weapons at your disposal, including shurikens, kunais, ninja bombs, caltrops, and even magic. But what sets you apart from other ninjas is your mastery of breathing techniques, which can give you a crucial advantage in battle.

The abyss is a treacherous place, full of danger and mystery. Many have attempted to explore its depths, but few have returned to tell the tale. Legend has it that the abyss was once home to a powerful civilization that possessed incredible knowledge and magic. But their arrogance led to their downfall, and now the abyss is shrouded in darkness and chaos.

To aid you in battle, you can use a variety of breathing techniques, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.
